The restaurant was disappointing for what is supposed to be a 4* boutique hotel. The staff, whilst friendly and professional had very limited English. The water taxi is approximately a 10-15 walk, through the alleyways which are not easy to navigate, especially after dark or during the heat of the daytime (we got lost the first time). You are a long way from the city centre and although the hotel will arrange taxis to take you into the city you will struggle to get a taxi willing to take you back. There is no direct vehicle access, so taxis will drop you off in a nearby car park and the security guard will transfer your luggage via the narrow alleyways. Whilst the ambience and cleanliness could not be faulted there are quite a few drawbacks as previous reviewers have mentioned. Beautifully designed hotel replicating the style of a typical Thai riverside house the rooms are spacious and clean. Lovely location overlooking the Bangkok Noi canal where it joins with Chao Phraya River.
